World Restaurant and Bar spokesperson Stephanie Wood said Grand Final Day was always huge and this year would be no exception.

“Grand Final Day is one of our biggest events of the year, this year we are expecting it to be huge. All the staff get on board and cheer, everybody just has a great time. The atmosphere in Southbank is amazing.” Ms Wood said.

She said many venues in Southbank don’t show the game, so the big projection screen is a real highlight at World.

She also suggested you don’t have to be a footy tragic to enjoy the day.

“Anyone and everyone should come along. You don’t need to be a footy lover to have a good time on grand final day.”
