Pet’s corner

Meet George the Cavoodle.

It’s a miracle the picture of him isn’t blurry, given the fact George seems to struggle to sit still for any length of time.

George’s owner, Leeanne Sharp, said as soon as she got home from work on this night, George was at the door with the lead in his mouth, demanding a walk before dinner.

That would’ve been okay, if not for the fact Leeanne’s son had taken George for a walk, only an hour earlier.

Even as Southbank Local News stops to talk to Leeanne during the walk, George is pulling the lead along in his mouth, pleading to keep walking.

With all this energy, the obvious question needs to be addressed. How does George go living in an apartment in inner-city Southbank?

Well Leeanne says despite his energetic facade, she has occasionally snuck home at lunchtime and found George fast asleep on the couch. It seems he’s adjusted his body clock, allowing him to store all energy reserves for when his family get home.
