Doggie Dollar

By Chelsea Cucinotta

Meet local residents Charlton Wang and his 8-month old French Bulldog Dollar. Dollar has been living with Charlton and his wife now for five months, and they love having him around. In fact, when they first saw little Dollar, they knew they had to have him.

“My wife has always loved dogs so when we were looking for a pet and saw Dollar, we thought he was too cute not to buy.”

Charlton describes Dollar as a very well behaved dog, who is playful with dogs and humans alike.

“Dollar gets along well with all of the other dogs. He’s very friendly and loves to play with his best dog-friend Diandian,” Charlton said.

What does Dollar do when he is not sleeping (which he apparently does a lot of) or eating ribs? Charlton says that Dollar loves to run around and chase after birds.

Charlton walks Dollar at least three times a day and enjoys passing through the city to the many parks and gardens that Melbourne has to offer.

“We go to Flagstaff Gardens everyday at around 5pm, as there are so many other dogs there at that time. It’s always full!”
