108 opens up

Halfway through its construction, Australia 108 has already opened its doors to residents and this month will open them to the public for Open House Melbourne.

With a quarter of the building’s 1100 apartments now completed, parts of the building, which include common areas, basement facilities and typical apartments will be open to public for tours this month.

As part of Open House Melbourne’s weekend event, representatives from the building’s architect Fender Katsalidis will host guided tours for members of the public.

Bookings for tours open on Friday, July 13 and second round bookings open on Friday, July 20. Open House Melbourne weekend will take place on July 28 and 29.
