Art prize celebrates 10 years Image

The Mission to Seafarers on Northbank celebrated the 10th year of its Maritime art prize last month, crowning The Business End II the winner and handing artist Martin Campbell the $15,000 first prize.

The prize was awarded at the opening of the Maritime art exhibition at the Mission. 250 guests from both the arts and maritime world (not to mention the local newspaper world) attended the event.

The exhibition runs all the way through October until Wednesday, October 31 so make sure you get down to the Mission to Seafarers and check it out.
