ARTS TRUST’S NEW PRESIDENT

14 Jan 2013

Tom Harley has been installed at the new president of the Victorian Arts Centre Trust, the organisation charged with overseeing The Arts Centre.

Mr Harley is an established businessman. Premier and Minister for the Arts, Ted Baillieu, said he brought a great level of expertise to the trust.

“Arts Centre Melbourne is a cornerstone of Victoria’s cultural life, and one of our most defining landmarks,” Mr Ballieu said.

“Mr Harley’s professional background, strategic acumen, corporate governance experience and extensive involvement across the heritage and philanthropic sectors, will be a great asset to Arts Centre Melbourne in this next stage of its development.”
