Happy birthday Recital Centre

10 Dec 2013

Happy birthday Recital Centre Image

Southbank’s much-loved Melbourne Recital Centre turns five in February and to celebrate it will hold a huge birthday bash.

The day-long event on Saturday, February 8 will feature a wide range of musical performances to ensure all music lovers will have something to celebrate. The variety also highlights the versatility of the venue.
Recital Centre CEO, Mary Vallentine, said MRC wanted to both celebrate the past and embrace the future, hoping to attract new faces to the birthday celebrations.

“Melbourne Recital Centre is the city’s home for music – it belongs to, and has something to offer, everyone. We’re proud to know that it is a welcoming place where the entire community comes together to make and share great music,” Ms Vallentine said.

The birthday bash is a free event. For more details head to www.melbournerecital.com.au/birthday
