Have your say on arts strategy

Have your say on arts strategy Image

Southbank is undisputedly Melbourne’s home to the arts so the City of Melbourne’s Arts Strategy 2014-17 will undoubtedly be influenced by voices in our area.

The council is calling for submissions from the public to let it know what its role should be in supporting and contributing to the arts.

Lord Mayor Robert Doyle said the arts would remain one of the council’s priorities.

“The City of Melbourne’s current Arts Strategy has allowed us to support and promote artists and arts organisations and we would like to build on this in the development of our new strategy for 2014-17,” Cr Doyle explained.

You can have your say online at www.participate.melbourne.vic.gov.au/projects/arts-strategy or on Twitter and Facebook using the hashtag #melbournearts
