Local author set to Blab!

Children and young adults author and Southbank resident Chrissie Perry will launch her brand-new series with publisher Scholastic Australia in February 2019.

Blabbermouth, book one ‘Oops I’ve Done It Again’ introduces a hilarious new character and her world of mistakes, mishaps and fun.

“Amelie Anderson is a blabbermouth,” Chrissie explained. “She just can’t help it sometimes – she’s so bubbly that words fizz out of her mouth! Then things go terribly wrong. But Amelie is always determined to right her wrongs.”

Chrissie is the author of more than 35 books for children and young adults including 13 books in the blockbuster Go Girl! series, the award-winning Whisper and the delightful Penelope Perfect series. Her work has been published in 12 countries.

Chrissie lives in Southbank with her husband, three children and her “opinionated” Maltese Shih tzu called Gidget!
