Yarra Pools is collecting feedback to understand what the community thinks is important in its outdoor pool design.

The non-profit organisation has proposed to build a floating swimming pool on the Yarra River’s Northbank.

The first stage of the community-led project features plans for an enclosed 25m controlled water pool, a kid’s pool, fishing pontoon, floating wetlands, events kiosk, cafe and changing facilities.

The community is invited to fill out four surveys focused on health and wellbeing, place and community, sustainability, environment and heritage, as well as economy, jobs and innovation.

Each survey takes around five minutes to complete. The feedback will help shape the Yarra Pool’s design principles.
