Tracy gears up to conquer cancer

Southbank resident Tracy Stoessiger is gearing up for The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting Peter Mac.

The Canadian will be joined by thousands of others to travel throughout Victoria for two days, on October 27 and 28, 2012.

Funds raised from this epic event will support breakthrough cancer research, treatment and the discovery of new therapies at Peter Mac.

One in two Australians will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Tracy rightly viewed the Ride to Conquer Cancer as a call to action.

She first participated in this inspiring ride back home in Vancouver, Canada last June.

After moving to Australia last December, she saw that the ride had been brought to Australia and she immediately registered.  

She is passionate about this ride and the cause - regardless of the country she lives in she is always looking to make a difference and raise awareness and funds for cancer research.

It will be a challenge for her to raise the funds for Peter Mac as she is in a new city and new country but it is a challenge she is absolutely willing to take on.
