A moment to remember

The mammoth development site of Southbank’s future suburb within a suburb Melbourne Square was a sea of activity last month as construction of the project officially got underway.

Local resident Peter Duras was kind enough to grant Southbank Local News access to his Kavanagh St apartment in November to capture trucks, cranes and workers rapidly filling the MCG-sized space.

With six towers to rise from the site over the coming years, as well as a new park and community precinct, it’s worth taking a good look at the project in its infancy while you still can!
