Distribution

We print and distribute 15,000 copies of the Southbank News at the start of each month. With a conservative multiplier of 2.5 readers per paper, this translates to 37,500 monthly readers.

A proportion of these readers are from outside Southbank. They are visitors to the precinct who pick up the paper from one numerous pick-up baskets which we have placed in high-traffic areas.

The rest go to residents and workers in Southbank. We deliver into the letterboxes of every apartment and business within postcode 3006 and Montague.

Around 20,000 people now live in Southbank and some 30,000 people come to work here each day.

We go into all the major Southbank corporates – both physically and through our e-news subscriptions.

Our papers are kept “topped up” throughout the month in more than 20 distribution baskets in high-traffic areas. You can find our baskets at Woolworths Melbourne Square, Boyd Community Hub, Southgate, Foodworks Wells St, Miles St Store, Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne Recital Centre, 7-Eleven Eureka Tower, Woolworths Metro City Rd, Shell Petrol Station City Rd and DFO South Wharf.

Our papers can be found in all businesses, with multiple copies in Southbank cafes and other places where people gather.

We deliver to every letterbox and residential tower mailroom throughout Southbank, Southbank Village, South Wharf and Montague every month.
