To celebrate 55 years in property development, Melbourne Square developer OSK Property has unveiled a new $25,000 grant program aimed at helping prospective home buyers during COVID-19. Starting from July 1, Melbourne Square’s ApartmentBuyer bonus provides property buyers who missed out on the Federal Government’s $25,000 HomeBuilder stimulus package (benefitting those who are building a new home or renovating their existing home), with the same amount of savings if they purchase a two- or three-bedroom Melbourne Square apartment. Under the program, you don’t have to be a first homebuyer or earn a certain amount to qualify – the ApartmentBuyer incentive applies to any two- or three-bedroom Melbourne Square residential unit purchased from July for a limited time. In addition to ApartmentBuyer, first homebuyers at Melbourne Square are also eligible to receive a further $10,000 thanks to the government’s First Homebuyer grant – translating to a total savings of $35,000. It also comes with potential stamp duty savings for those who purchase their dream homes in Melbourne Square in the months of July and August. OSK Property sales and marketing director Scott Jessop said the launch of the 55th birthday incentive created a rare opportunity for prospective apartment buyers to get on the property ladder, and own a piece of prime inner-city Melbourne. “By launching the ApartmentBuyer incentive at Melbourne Square, we are opening our doors again to allow private tours of our beautifully completed brand new apartments, all while making it more financially accessible for our customers to purchase their dream home.
