Coffee with a Cop

Coffee with a Cop

On Sunday, March 30, Southbank Police along with the Crime Prevention Officers from the Melbourne Proactive Policing Unit and Southbank Neighbourhood Watch got together to host “Coffee with a Cop”.

Melbourne Square kindly hosted the event with MICM kindly donating delicious biscuits and muffins, while 10 Hoff Café provided discount coffee vouchers for attendees.

It provided an opportunity for police to interact with the community in an informal setting.

Police were answering lots of questions about safety and security in apartment living and Southbank Neighbourhood Watch president Chris Milner was obtaining email addresses for local residents to start engaging with each other.

Hopefully this is the first of many Coffee with a Cop events for Southbank. Stay tuned for the next one!
