Jonathon Bird’s passion for property goes far beyond his role at RT Edgar Real Estate.

Located in neighboring Albert Park and conducting a large proportion of his work in Southbank, Jonathon Bird has been plying his trade in the area for well over a decade now.

Over that time, he says his passion in real estate long ago reached a point of feeling like an everyday career.

“Up early and finishing late seven days a week, the enjoyment of my role long ago reached the stage where it no longer felt like work,” he said. “It’s simply something I just love doing.”

It’s that extra degree of passion and integrity that has served Jon so well for so many years within the local market.

His love for his role is reflected by an exceptional track record, having previously run his own real estate agency and been the recipient of several awards for outstanding service.

According to his colleagues at RT Edgar, Jon’s career history can be measured literally by hundreds of property transactions, many of which have delivered his clients outcomes far above their expectations.

He said the manner in which he achieves results is as important as the results themselves.

“I have always found creating communicative, long-standing working relationships and building an honest rapport is the best way of winning confidence,” he said.

In real estate, having a clear understanding of the critical nature of time on all property transactions and the importance of closing a deal for clients is key.

According to Jon, this can still be achieved while providing vendors with a low stress process and producing strong sales outcomes within the required timeframe.

“My key focus is on professionalism, providing frank and fearless advice and on the fact that the final price is the ultimate benchmark,” he said.

“This allows me to maintain a high level of energy and engagement with all my clients.”
