Aquatic Physio Exercise Australia is running a free aquatic exercise event at the Boyd Community Hub on Monday, June 24.

Organisers Sophie Heywood and Elizabeth Villalta said that the event would be perfect for people who wanted to stay fit over the colder winter months, especially for those who suffered from an injury that impaired movement.

Plunge Into Winter will be an opportunity to get up-to-date research about aquatic exercise and some practical tips on how to start. There will also be a discussion about how to keep moving and motivated during winter.

Five readers of Southbank Local News can go into the running to win a free pool assessment conducted by physiotherapists, if you live in the area and have a pool in your building.

Plunge into Water is will take place on June 24 at the Boyd Community Hub from 5.30 to 6.30pm.

For details on the event or to register your interest visit aquaticphysioexercise.com.au
