Look who’s been visiting Southbank? Image

Santa made his way down to Southbank last month to check out the new buildings and map out his flight plan for December 24.

He'll be back in town again when Boyd Community Hub invites the community to celebrate Christmas together with a Christmas Buoyed @ Boyd on Thursday, December 12.

The celebrations kick off from 4.30pm and include performances from The Mudcakes and Fairy Caitlin, Vardos and Santa to hear everyones Christmas wishes.

There will also be food trucks and a Christmas paper craft workshop from Paperlab.

Cr Richard Foster encouraged the entire community to come together and enjoy the surrounds of the Boyd community hub.

“Christmas at Boyd will no doubt be another wonderful family-friendly event and a time to celebrate and relax with your neighbours,” Cr Foster said

“I encourage Southbank residents to come and enjoy the entertainment and good company at Boyd, City of Melbourne’s beautifully-restored community hub on City Road.”

For more information on Christmas Buoyed @ Boyd head to www.melbourne.vic.gov.au/boyd or call 9658 8317.
