Southbank is set for a visit from Australian entertainment royalty, academy award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush.

Rush will be in town to inspect The Extraordinary Shades of Geoffrey Rush, an exhibition dedicated to the star of Shine, The Kings Speech and Pirates of the Caribbean.

Rush will be signing copies of the catalogue that accompanies the exhibition.

The exhibition, at Gallery 1 in the Arts Centre, has been open since July and has already had 130,000 visitors. It will close on November 3.

Rush will appear on Sunday, October 20 at 2pm until 2.45pm.
