Steady ship at YRBA

The Yarra River Business Association (YRBA) executive committee remains largely unchanged following the group’s 17th annual general meeting (AGM) last month.

President John Forman (Red Rock Leisure) was re-elected as president, while Bill Blakeney (Federation Square) and Peter King (Quest Southbank) resume the roles of vice-president and treasurer respectively.

Some familiar faces returning to the executive committee ranks are Emma Cullen (Eureka Skydeck) and Philip Hill (Greenco Parking Group). The balance of the committee comprises Paul Sullivan (Venice on the Yarra), Jeremy Vincent (Arts Centre Melbourne), Allan Cayzer (Marina YE), Jo Gartner (Southgate), Harley Moraitis (Crown) and Paul Hourigan (South Wharf Association/Riverland Group).

Long serving YRBA member Bill Horman was re-nominated as the community representative.

Drinks and nibbles at Pilgrim Bar at Federation Wharf followed the AGM.

The YRBA will host its next networking luncheon in November.
