Testing Grounds launches Help Desk

Southbank’s free community arts open space Testing Grounds recently launched a virtual portal helping artists and independent companies develop their creative practices.

Open now until August 7, Help Desk is a new initiative aimed at helping artists through COVID-19.

Artists simply submit an enquiry via an online form, telling Testing Grounds what they would like help with, and a friendly creative mentor (an experienced producer or curator) will contact them for a 40-minute chat.

“They can pick their brains and get experienced industry advice for free!” program director and curator at Testing Grounds Arie Rain Glorie said.

“Help Desk operates on a first-in, best-dressed policy. People can get in touch now to secure themselves a meeting.”
