Grand preview in Queensbridge Square
Southbank News | 14th February, 2012
Dust off those earplugs. The Melbourne Grand Prix is just around the corner and Queensbridge Square was the site of a preview for the big race, with a display being set up last month.
In an attempt to get people excited about the race organisers provided passers-by with interactive activities and general information about the event, held at Albert Park annually.
The display was centred around a giant helmet and once it had your attention also featured a mini-race track with an electronic mini-formula one car, two formula one cars on display and an information tent.
For all the rev-heads who are hanging out for the big race, the sound of screeching motorcars will run from March 15 – 18.
