Is there a more beautiful couple than Steve and Luna? The word fluffy doesn’t do her justice.
“We’re down here three or four days a week,” said Steve, who takes Luna on day shift while his daughter is working.
It was muddy at Boyd Park and Luna’s “undercarriage” is suffering which is a pity because she’s just had a bath.
As a Samoyed, Luna was bred to herd reindeer and is happy by the Yarra, in a kayak with a life jacket or by the edge.
She wears boots so she doesn’t get wet feet and has a brown cap to complete the outfit.
She had just done 8-9 kilometres, according to Steve. That’s 11,000 steps in human terms, but how many in dog? •
