Mailroom thief

Detectives have released video footage and images of a man who allegedly stole mail from an apartment block on Sturt Street last month.

Police say the man entered the block on May 11 at about 12.30pm, gaining entrance through the car park at The Guild apartments.

CCTV footage shows the man going through several personal mail boxes before allegedly stealing the contents inside. Items stolen include an empty photo frame and various bills and letters.

Police believe the man was responsible for similar incidents on the same block on May 6 and May 8.

He is described as being of Asian appearance with a large build and dark straight hair. In the footage, the man is seen wearing a blue cap backwards, a charcoal New York Yankees bomber jacket with grey sleeves, grey tracksuit pants and runners.

He was seen on a different occasion wearing grey tracksuit pants, runners and a black jacket.
