Promo with street cred … for a bank?
Southbank News | 13th August, 2013
Melbourne’s hotspot for promotional activity, Southbank Promenade, was at it again last month as ING Direct hosted artist INDO who helped passers-by to create a unique mural.
The makeshift artists took pictures of themselves that were then created as stencils for them to paint onto the mural.
The panels of the mural were donated by ING to its charity partners, who could either keep the artwork or auction it off.
The promotion was part of ING’s “Spend your lunch well” and it was nice to see a creative use of the promotional space, even if it was for a bank.
