Sculptures at home in WTC Wharf
Southbank News | 13th August, 2013
The WTC Wharf atrium was overrun with sculpture art this month as Asset 1 unveiled 25 Sculptures.
The display, set up by Mars Gallery, is free for the public to enjoy.
WTC Wharf held an opening for the makeshift gallery during August, which was attended by Asset 1 board members, most of the artists who produced the sculptures and City of Melbourne councillor Ken Ong.
Asset 1 CEO Gavin Boyd (pictured above) introduced Southbank Local News to “Strangers” a piece by Maria Simonelli.
The sculpture display was conceived to help activate the atrium level at WTC Wharf.
The display will be in place until the end of September.
