Storm surge smashes Southbank shores

The Yarra River swelled during a storm surge on June 24, with the lower promenade footpath and Ponyfish Island both ending up under water.
Boat access was also affected, because there wasn’t enough room to travel under Queens Bridge or the Southbank footbridge.
