Sustainable living encouraged along the river
Southbank News | 19th February, 2013
Sustainable living is becoming more and more popular and locals had a great chance to learn more about it last month, during the Sustainable Living Festival at Federation Square and Birrarung Marr.
The festival featured pop-up tents of gardening experts, lifestyle and dietary ideas plus waste disposal ideas, all designed to help everyday people live more sustainably.
There were also great tips on sustainable living for apartment dwellers.
The festival attracted big crowds throughout February and runs up until February 24, so you still have the chance to get along and have a look.
