The fence comes down on Boyd!
12th August, 2016
While it continues to deliberate on what it will do with the redundant site, the City of Melbourne has taken the fence down at Boyd to create a temporary park.
Having torn up its commercial contract with developer Mackie in June, the council is yet to formally announce whether the site will be given to the community as a park or offered to developers.
Either way, the removal of the fence provides the community with an even clearer image of what could be possible on the site – a lot of greenery or a lot of concrete!
