Dogs spreading happiness

By Sakshi Agrawal Benny, a four-year-old French bulldog, has made the family of Zeren Guleoglu and Max Saunders very happy. “My dad is very old. He’s Turkish and doesn’t like animals in the house. But as soon as I got Benny, he lets him sleep on the bed and does everything with him,” explained Zeren. Zeren and her family bought Benny, when he was eight weeks old, from a breeder in Frankston. Benny has a “squishy face” and is “mushy”. He is a smart dog but also stubborn at the same time, Zeren said. His favourite part of the day was his daily visit to the dog park. “When we go to the dog park, he is salivating everywhere because he is just that over-excited and happy,” Max said. Zeren loves her dog very much and does not like leaving him alone when she goes to work. Therefore, she switches on a YouTube Channel for dogs. “It releases soft music in the background and has a field of cows everywhere. It’s anti-anxiety for dogs and it will go on playing for hours. It’s a 12-hour video so there is always noise in the house then,” Zeren said. Benny has just received a new set of cute pyjamas.
