Pictured above is Kathryn Siddle, of PETstock South Melbourne, whose family is raising a puppy for the Assistance Dogs program.
The puppy stayed home but Kathryn, her penguin friends and 400 other guest clubbed together to raise $104,000 for the charity.
It costs $25,000 to raise each assistance dog, which are given to disabled people to increase their mobility and improve their lives.
