Meet the candidates

Meet the candidates

Locals will be given another chance to meet their candidates running for the seat of Albert Park ahead of the November 26 state election on November 15 and 16 at the Boyd Community Hub.

Hosted over two days by the Southbank Residents’ Association (SRA) on Tuesday, November 15 and Wednesday, November 16 for a 6.30pm start both nights, candidates will be split between two events to allow locals ample time to hear from everyone in the race.

The first event on the Tuesday will hear from candidates from the major parties – Nina Taylor (Labor), Lauren Sherson (Liberal) and Kim Samiotis (Greens) – while the Wednesday event will hear from all other candidates, which currently includes Independent Georgina Dragwidge and the Animal Justice Party’s Cassandra Westwood.

The free event will be moderated by former City of Melbourne councillor and Walkley Award winning journalist Stephen Mayne. For more information, see page 6 of this edition or email [email protected]
