Awards roll in for Ray White Southbank

Ray White Southbank has continued its dominance of the local real estate market taking out Agency of the Year and Agent of the Year in the recent RateMyAgent awards.

With more than 1.5 million reviews nationally, RateMyAgent is Australia’s leading resource for real estate reviews, ranking agents and agencies based on the feedback of their clients.

For the fourth year running, Ray White Southbank’s Michael Pastrikos has been recognised as Southbank’s leading agent with a rating of 4.9 stars out of five from more than 200 reviews.

Ray White Southbank principal Andrew Salvo told Southbank News the awards were great acknowledgement of the relationship his agency and team developed between vendors and buyers alike.

“For us, it is just about doing the right thing by our clients. It’s not so much about the transaction and because we’re so invested in the city of Melbourne and Southbank,” he said.

“We’re in here [Southbank] for the long haul and we know we’re going to grow within the community if we do the right thing.”

We measure every part of our business on customer satisfaction, from our landlords, our tenants, our buyers or sellers… every single transaction that we do in every direction, we make sure our clients are happy.

During the past 12 months, Ray White has sold 125 properties with a staggering $87 million in sales value.

For Mr Pastrikos alone, not only is he the best agent based on client reviews, but he oversaw the sale of 53 properties as lead agent worth a total of more than $48 million and an average sale price of $906,610.

According to Mr Salvo, the results reflect, not only the hardest working real estate team in Southbank, from administration to its leadership, which operates within the largest real estate network in the country.

“I feel like our team is made up of genuinely good people. We often have clients who have purchased properties from us, knowing that they paid top dollar for the property, and now they would like us to achieve the same result for them,” Mr Salvo said.

“Ray White as a franchise is very much run on customer service. We have a lot of internal surveys and professional development that is measured by head office, and Ray White Southbank continues to lead the way on a national scale.” •

“We started from zero ten years ago. We had no market share and to I think we peaked at 24 per cent market share in Southbank at one point for sales, that is something we are pretty proud of.”
