Dine Pink at Southgate!

Dine Pink at Southgate!

Southgate has been taken over by a sea of pink this October as part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month as a number of restaurants and cafes help to raise money for Australians affected by breast cancer.

Dine Pink is an exciting new campaign that acknowledges the important role food plays in connecting people, especially at a time when they most need support from their loved ones.

Southgate venues will donate proceeds from their own special pink themed creations to Breast Cancer Network Australia (BCNA), which works to create a better cancer journey for women and men with breast cancer.

Southgate has also installed a giant pink lady on its mid level and the complex’s facade will be lit up in pink to help raise awareness for the campaign.

Patrons can also donate their spare change at any of the participating food court tenants throughout October. Dine Pink highlights include: Tutto Bene – The Italian restaurant’s “Chef Selection” will become the “Pink Selection” menu, with $5 donated from each order; Damon Bradley and Roop Rani – Spoil yourself with this great deal for two, which includes a pink dessert tasting plate (pictured) with two glasses of pink rose Moscato at Damon Bradley, followed by a pink manicure at Roop Rani Hair and Beauty Salon; La Camera – On Friday, October 27, La Camera will be holding a special event where 30 per cent of the total bill (maximum discount of $30 per table) will be donated.

Wear something pink on the day and it will turn that into a maximum of $90 for bigger groups; Waterslide Bar – For every Brunswick Hippy cocktail sold, Waterslide Bar will donate $1; Pure South - $2 from every sale of its special Brekkie Smoothie, Tassie Sloe Comfort cocktail and French Martini cocktail; Red Emperor – The Chinese restaurant will feature a classic cocktail “Pink Lady” for $18, which consists of gin, egg white, grenadine and lemon juice.

All revenue made from the drink will be donated; Miyako Japanese Cuisine and Teppanyaki – will be diningindonating $1 from every Strawberry and Rose Petit Gateaux Dessert, which features almond pate sablee, almond sponge, strawberry cream, rose Bavarian cream, soft centred mango and passion fruit heart; Bluetrain - $1 will be donated for every Strawberry Daiquiri and Bloody Mary sold in October.
