Blanket celebrations

300 Blankets held its Christmas and new year party at Queensbridge Square in December, as the charity celebrated a year of hard work.

The charity, which helps supply blankets to many of Melbourne’s homeless, also held fund-raising events here in Southbank throughout the year.

Director Warren Tu said the barbecue was the perfect way to thank the group’s tireless volunteers.

“The location was fantastic as our cases are focussed in the Melbourne CBD,” Mr Tu said.
