DANCING IN THE STREET
The program was announced last month and the party will kick off with a jazz marching band playing through the streets of Southbank.
American band Rebirth Brass Band will march through Southbank and onto Federation Square, where an opening concert will be held on May 31.
The Melbourne Recital Centre will also feature during the festival, holding concerts for the likes of Cristian McBride Trio, Maria Schnieder and Darcy James Argue, James Carter Organ Trio and the Mike Stern Band.
