Nearly a hectare of land in Montague, which had approval for four residential towers to be built on it, has been put up for sale.
68 Buckhurst St received approval from former Minister for Planning and current State Liberal leader Matthew Guy in September 2014 for the property to be transformed into a residential and retail site as part of the Fishermans Bend urban renewal plan.
However, just three years later, the developer is looking to offload the property, though the reason behind the decision is not clear.
Eureka Tower designer Fender Katsalidis designed the proposed towers, which contain more than 1000 apartments.
