Forced to walk!

Their ship can no longer navigate upstream, so Melbourne Day re-enactment players were forced to walk from Southbank to Enterprize Park on August 30.

A small group gathered to commemorate Melbourne’s 182nd birthday at the site first selected in Melbourne for European settlement.

Junior Lord Mayor Sienna Koop was asked what she would do if she was the real lord mayor for a day.

The 11-year-old said: “I’d take the homeless people to Luna Park and I’d build a monorail or train to the airport.”
