Harmony Day, come and play
Southbank News | 18th March, 2014
The City of Melbourne (CoM) and Southbank Rotary are coming together in March to present Harmony Day at the Boyd Community Hub.
The day gives the entire Southbank community an opportunity to celebrate our cultural diversity.
The main event is the creation of a Rangoli on the asphalt of the old carpark behind Boyd. A Rangoli is a mural that traditionally brings peace and harmony to a community.
Other events include a juggling workshop, Bollywood performance and workshop, fence flag weaving installation and a Choir of Hope and Inspiration performance.
Of course, Rotary will also be providing a barbecue throughout the day.
Harmony Day is on March 22 from 10am – 1 pm and entry is free. For more info head to www.melbourne.vic.au/whatson
