The Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC) won its second consecutive In-house AV Services award during March, at the Victorian Meetings and Events Australia Awards which was, coincidently, held at the MCEC.
The award for In-house AV services is assessed across criteria that included business and financial plans, marketing activities, sustainability and innovation.
The award means MCEC has qualified for the national awards, with winners to be revealed on April 24.
MCEC chief executive Peter King noted the importance of the awards and said he was thrilled to receive the honour.
“The MEA awards are highly regarded within industry and it’s a great honour to receive this recognition,” Mr King said.
