The conditions were far from ideal but that did not stop the VCA party last month.
The Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) celebrated its 40th anniversary in style.
Despite the cold weather, the street party attracted hundreds of revellers, all in the mood for a celebration. The attendees included staff, students, alumni, friends, family and general supporters of the college.
The atmosphere was kept alive by music performances, with acts such as DJ Manchild, ScotDrakula, Saskwatch and Clairy Browne & the Bangin’ Rackettees.
Director of the VCA, Professor Su Baker said the party was a celebration of the achievements of the VCA, in particularly the amazingly talented students the school had produced over its 40 years.
