Works start at Whiteman St

Yarra Trams workers were spotted last month conducting landscaping works at the Whiteman St tram depot.

It is a welcome sign for residents following months of speculation over when further works would be conducted at the reserve after Yarra Trams upgraded the tram depot in February.

As reported in Southbank Local News last month, the City of Melbourne is expected to be installing a new drain along Whiteman St in the coming months in response to major flooding issues in the area.

Landscaping works are expected to continue at the reserve throughout July.
