Southbank police are investigating a burglary and theft in Southbank in February.

Two men in a white Range Rover Discovery four-wheel drive waited in the street until a car left a private residential carpark on Wells St on February 16 at around 3.30am.

The offenders then entered the carpark on foot while the roller door was open. The two men remained in the carpark for around 30 minutes, where they stole multiple personal items from the rear of residents’ cars, including a bike rack.

Southbank police have now released CCTV footage of two men. The first man is described as having an athletic build, dark brown hair, and is around 28 to 35 years of age. He was wearing a navy-blue Chicago Bulls jumper, dark-coloured shorts, and beige sneakers.

The second man is described as having a large to medium build and is around 28 to 35 years of age. He was wearing a blue, red, and grey hoodie, grey tracksuit pants, green gloves, and black sneakers.

Southbank police are appealing to any witnesses. Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at crimestoppersvic.com.au.
